Broholm - Gudme

Surrounded by green, rolling hills and idyllically located in on the island of Fyn in Denmark, Broholm is a 400 year old manor house, owned by the same family for 12 generations. Located in lush parkland, the exclusive rooms of the late Gothic buildings have been authentically restored. Stay in original splendour with gilt leather, wood panelling and countless family portraits, painted between 1600 and mid 1900. At Broholm, guests can take a relaxing stroll through the orangery or row across the lake to a delightful summerhouse where afternoon tea is often served. Broholm's characteristic library has been tastefully converted into impressive conference facilities, while still retaining keeping the familys unique book collection. The Broholm Equestrian Centre is situated in one of the wings of the former farmhouse and Broholm is also home to Denmarks first museum building, located at the southern end of the moat.
